Non-Salvage Assessment
Not everything can be restored. Items that are too damaged, contaminated, or degraded are documented as non-salvageable and provided to your insurance company for claim purposes. We're transparent about what can and can't be saved.

Restored items are inspected before moving to storage or packback.

Before/after photos and condition notes are provided to you and your insurance company.
Questions About Cleaning & Restoration
How do you determine if something is salvageable?
We assess material type, damage severity, contamination level, and restoration cost. If an item can be restored to reasonable condition and the restoration cost is justified, we move forward. If not, it's documented as non-salvageable.
How long does restoration take?
Varies by item type and damage. Simple cleaning might take days. Complex restoration might take weeks. We prioritize items based on urgency and provide you with timelines.
What if I want something restored even if it might not survive?
We'll try. If an item is particularly valuable or sentimental, we'll do our best using appropriate restoration techniques. Results aren't guaranteed, but we'll give it our best effort and document the outcome.
Are there items you can't restore?
Some items — like certain porous materials heavily contaminated by sewage or mold — cannot be safely restored. We're honest about limitations and document accordingly for your claim.

Once contents arrive at our facility, we assess each item to determine the right restoration method — specialized cleaning for smoke and soot, drying and dehumidification for water-affected items, and targeted treatment for mold-affected contents. Anything that can't be restored is documented in a clear non-salvage list for your insurance claim.
